Mind & Soul
At university your mind and soul can sometimes take a beating either due to the assignments, lectures, seminars, reading or just a good old fashioned hangover.
Every now and then you just need to recharge your mind and soul; and what's better to relax than taking part in some of the following:
Yoga and pilates
Classes range for beginners and to the more advanced. The University's Sports Centre employ full-time instructors to guide you through one of the most popular body and soul workouts there is.
If you like yoga, why not try something a little different? Perhaps: Tai Chi, Pilates, Hatha Yoga or even the challenging Ashtanga Yoga?
Get in shape while relaxing your mind and soul... nice!
Sunbathing
When the weather is great we have the beaches that help you make the most of the sunshine: relax with friends on the seafront, or meditate on South Beach, maybe you want to explore the six miles of golden sands and dunes at Ynyslas? Technically speaking, Vitamin D from the sun boosts your energy levels and having fun does wonders for the soul. Just remember one thing: your sun tan cream :)
Massage and Well-being
Another great way to relax is with a massage: before the May Ball, a date in the town or for no reason at all. Aberystwyth University's Sports Centre work with Baker Street Natural Healing Centre who offer you a wide range of services and facilities, to enhance your well-being, highlighting the University's commitment to enriching your fitness experience.
