Great Outdoors
Aberystwyth enjoys one of the most spectacular locations of any British University and the area surrounding us are
designated Special Areas of Conservation; giving you tons of reason to get outdoors and take part in some outdoor sports. Two massive advantages of doing outdoor sports at Aberystwyth is that the area has loads of trails and secret spots dotted around all over the place, and you'll never have to travel far to find them, they're on your doorstep.
We have numerous university clubs actively involved with outdoor sports that you can join; not only will they teach you, but in most cases, allow you to borrow kit - saving you tons of money and allowing you to have a great opportunity to get involved and make new friends.
