Careleaver, Young Carers and other unsupported students
For these groups and those working with and supporting them there are dedicated contact points at Aberystwyth.
- Pre-entry projects and support, sixth form and college: contact Debra Croft email@example.com (01970 621890 or text 07968 77 55 23).
- If you are applying or thinking of applying to Aberystwyth and need support through the application process, at Open Days or departmental Visiting Days, both Debra Croft (Widening Participation) and Doug Kerr (Student Support Services) will be pleased to talk to you and / or meet you and show you around the various facilities that the University has to offer. Doug’s contact details are firstname.lastname@example.org (01970 621529 / 621761).
When you apply and up to arrival in the autumn, we will keep in contact with you and alert you to the support available.
The Student Welcome Centre is your One Stop Shop for advice and information on a range of support activities within the University and houses our Student Advisors, Wellbeing Services, Accessibility Services, and Signpost and other Mentoring services.
