Study Practices and Academic Skills

Study Practices Co-ordinator - John MorganWe can help you improve your study skills in a variety of ways.

You might find that taking notes in lectures or participating in seminars is not your strong point - we can advise you on how to improve on this. Similarly if you need a bit of support with dealing with your revision and exams, we can help.

For those who wish to work on their writing and communications skills, there are undergraduate modules available which you can do alongside your main degree modules, and programmes which are run by academic departments and CDSAP. Another route is to get involved with the RLF Writing Fellowship Scheme, which enables students to discuss issues regarding writing with published writers.

Specifically for postgraduates, we offer research training in collaboration with the Office of Postgraduate studies.
