In the first few weeks of university in particular students will be busy getting to grips with their new living arrangements, making new friends and settling into their academic programmes. Students often make new friends in their accommodation, in tutorial groups and by joining clubs or societies. It is not unusual for students to feel shy, lonely, and a bit overwhelmed or homesick during the move from home to university and you may take some time to settle in. Peer mentoring offers help
