Effective Study Sessions for all first year students
Get a head start with your studies through the Effective Study Seminars on Monday 24th, Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th September.
Sessions and times have been allocated according to alphabetical order of surname. Details of this are provided in your university welcome and information pack. Information on all other courses, seminars and support services for the rest of the year will be provided during these sessions.
Session 1 : “Learning Strategies”, includes planning, time management, workload, lectures, note taking, seminars, reading, sources of support
Session 2 : “Academic Writing”, includes writing formats, strategies, interpreting questions, structures from introduction to conclusion, referencing, presentation
