Research Writing Programme

The Research Writing Programme is for 2^nd and 3^rd year MPhil and PhD students who are working on thesis writing. The programme is organised between the Office of Postgraduate Studies and Student Support. It involves staff from a wide range of academic departments in the university. It may also involve international guest lecturers.

The programme takes place twice per year. Programme 1 is a two day residential course and is held at Gregynog Hall, near Newtown in mid-Wales in late April or early May. http://www.wales.ac.uk/defaultpage.asp?page=E3000

Programme 2 is a 3 day course and is held on campus in Aberystwyth. It takes place in late June. Programme two may involve lecturers and Aberystwyth MPhil or PhD candidates who are based in other regions or countries by video conference.
