Part 1 Rules
Year 1 Core (80 Credits)
Students must take the following Physics modules. You may choose a Welsh medium (FG or MT) alternative module (see below) instead of an English (PH, MA, MP) module:

Semester 1 PH24010 Data Handling And Statistics
Year 2 Options
Welsh medium alternative modules:
Year 2 Core (40 Credits)
Either MM33120 or MM34020 must be passed with a mark of 40 or better, during Part 2, to be awarded a degree
Final Year Core (70 Credits)
Students take the following core Physics modules
Semester 2 PH32710 Probing Atoms And Molecules
PH33710 Science Of Semiconductor Applications
Final Year Options
Students must choose a further 10 credits of Physics Level 3 modules, subject to Timetable and approval by Degree Scheme Coordinator
Final Year Core (40 Credits)
Either MM33120 or MM34020 must be passed with a mark of 40 or better, during Part 2, to be awarded a degree
