Community & Social Links
The Centre for Widening Participation and Social Inclusion aims to widen access to groups of people who have traditionally been under-represented in Higher Education. Courses and programmes are offered, especially within 'Communities First' areas, to people of all ages. Activities include Campus Kids in Action for years 5 & 6, school science activites and basic science for adults and community groups, visits to campus and advice/guidance sessions. Projects include an annual International Women's Day celebration, Welsh medium residential courses and Science & Engineering Week Exhibition. If you reside with a 'Communities First' area or are interested in supporting our activities, please contact Debra Croft on ex 2681 or email@example.com.
