Staff Development

The Centre for the Development of Staff and Academic Practice (CDSAP) offers staff a range of courses to develope knowledge, skills and approaches to meet their professional responsibilities. CPD courses are free for AU Staff. CDSAP may also be able to offer bespoke courses and also manages fee exemptions for members of staff who wish to study for a degree (undergraduate or postgraduate levels). Diversity E-Learning

In our efforts to continue to embrace the principles and values of equality and diversity, Aberystwyth University provides mandatory bilingual diversity e-learning training for all staff. This course is designed to provide our staff with information to support them in their roles, and includes modules on all areas of equality, legal and policy information, and news articles. Courses are also available from Information Services, for example, Microsoft Office training (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Introducing Blackboard etc., and Lifelong Learning who offer a range of certificates and subject areas, for example, Arts & Design, Science, Humanities, Social Science, Modern Languages and Welsh.
