Resits
FM10620 Studying Media If you have failed modules in either Semester 1 or Semester 2 and are eligible to resubmit coursework or resit examinations you will be notified by letter in July 2012. In the meantime, details of any Semester 1 resit work will be uploaded on this page by end of March 2012. Details of Semester 2 resit work will be uploaded by end of June 2012.
If you are resubmitting Coursework, this must arrive in the Departmental Office no later than 12.00 noon on Wednesday 15 August 2012. This will be the final submission date.
If you are due to resit a written examination, this will take place during a formal examinations period which runs from 20 August to 31 August 2012. An examination timetable will be avaialble on the Academic Office web pages.
If you are due to complete a practical examination within a studio space, this will take place as early as possible in August.
If you are eligible to resit any failed modules all details will be outlined in the letter. It is advisable to contact lecturers and tutors well in advance of the deadline if you require advice on how to complete the assignment.
What willI need to do to if I'm eligible to resit any failed modules?
- Register for the resit(s): All students are required to register for the resits via the student record. The Department cannot accept assessments (and therefore process marks) from students who have not registered appropriately.
- Complete the required coursework and / or sit the examinations, as indicated in the letter from the Department
- Post coursework to the Department. Please post coursework to the Secretaries in the Department. The address can be found here. The Department cannot accept coursework by email. Please ensure that you obtain proof of postage from the Post Office. You should also attach the Resit Cover Sheet to the coursework and make sure that your name is clearly visible. Any coursework submitted after the deadline will be returned.
