Enterprise & External Relations

The Department is committed to being an outward facing and innovative institution. Alongside its widely recognised teaching and research activity it is actively working with, and developing projects with the wider creative industries.

These activities include :

• nurturing and developing our Spinout companies;
• formation of a working partnership with the Boomerang+ Group;
• creating further meaningful opportunities for student engagement with industry;
• continued engagement with broadcasters, regulators, policy makers, public bodies and government in the areas of the creative and cultural industries;
• increasing knowledge transfer activity;
• continuing to work with our research centres: the Centre for Performance Research, the S4C Compliance Unit and the Mercator Institute for Media, Languages and Culture.
