Continuing Professional Development

The Department is developing a Continuing Professional Development programme aimed at people working in the creative and cultural industries. Areas of interests include technical theatre skills, acting and directing, television editing and directing, and aspects of arts and broadcasting policy and regulation.

Leadership for Creative Businesses

Developed with the support of Skillset Academi+ this course aimed at providing an opportunity for 15 top level executives of leading companies in Wales in the sector to extend and develop their creative leadership skills and to discuss current and future priorities with a number of leading international mentors and motivators.  Taking place over the course of four one-day seminars, the programme was designed to place participants in an environment of knowledge, skills, context and content that they could then apply to their own organisations.  The Department would like to develop such courses in the future; please contact us if you would like further information or would like to suggest ideas.
