Peter Eryl Lloyd (Series producer of the afternoon BBC1 Drama Doctors) and Dawn Harrison (writer for BBC1’s Doctors, ITV’s Emmerdale and CBBC’s The Dumping Ground CBBC) and much more will be in conversation.

 

Discussing the working relationship of a producer and writer, and  script editor and writer. They will talk about the process of  developing an episode from storylining  to filming.

 

They will also talk about how they both got into the industry and what they expect from someone approaching them to work as a writer or script editor. So will talk about how best to approach getting into this industry with useful advice.

 

Peter Lloyd was a script editor on Programmes like Dangerfield. and started out in Doctors as a  script editor. He has been series producer for ten years.

 

Currently: Series Producer BBC drama Doctors.

Series producer 2008-2017

 

Also script editor for other drama series such a Dangerfield. The Scarlet Pimpernel.

 

Dawn Harrison Currently writes for Emmerdale (ITV)  but also wrote for many years for Doctors (BBC)  and The Dumping Ground (CBBC)  As well as the award winning Tracey Beaker, Holby City, The Bill, and many more.
