Aberystwyth Continues to Lead on Student Satisfaction
Aberystwyth University is, for the seventh consecutive year, leading on student satisfaction.
The 2011 results of the National Student Survey (NSS) awarded the University a score of 4.3 out of 5 for student satisfaction, and for the seventh year running, top in Wales.
The superb result further supports our recent promotion up the University league tables, which saw us moving up 22 places in the Guardian University Guide, six places in the Times Higher Education Good University Guide and seven places in the Independent’s league table for student satisfaction. To cement our pedigree at providing super student satisfaction even further, we were voted ‘probably the best place in the world to be a student’ in the International Student Barometer of 2009.
A total of 252,000 students participated in the survey this year, and they voted that overall satisfaction at Aberystwyth University remains at a very high 92% - an increase of 2% on 2009 and 10% higher than both the Welsh and the UK average.
