Aberystwyth University Ascends the League Tables

Aberystwyth University continues to climb the most respected national University league tables for 2011. The University is currently ranked 40th in the Times Good University Guide 2011 (previously 43); it has risen by seven places in The Independent Complete University Guide 2011 to 48; and has gone up an amazing 20 places in The Guardian University Guide to 49. All three tables have the University strengthening its hold on second place in Wales.

The results confirm Aberystwyth’s growing profile in all aspects of University achievement, with a foundation of particular strength in its popularity with its students, where the University maintains its place as best in the country for student satisfaction. The town of Aberystwyth also wins second place in the poll of Most Popular Student Town in the UK.
