How easy was it to settle in at Aberystwyth?

I started at university a little earlier, during Sports Week, and so I got to know a few of the other students before the beginning of term. Then by the time everybody else arrived, I had already settled in.

What is the Department like?

The Department of Computer Science is really nice.  I'm surrounded by very helpful tutors and staff, and the advisory teams are also on hand if you need any further support. Aberystwyth offers a very friendly environment to be in.

How does Aberystwyth accommodate your hobbies?

Aberystwyth has plenty of facilities, which really do accommodate all of my hobbies.  Whatever you want to do, it's available here.

What do you like best about studying at Aberystwyth?

The best thing about studying here is being by the sea, and there's a niceness about the place.

What is the social life like here?

The social life is pretty good. The town and University both offer a great night out, and there's always something to do.

Would you recommend Aberystwyth to others?

I would definitely recommend Aberystwyth to others.  There's a niceness about the place, and you can do what you want, when you want.  The countryside and the sea help to make this a great atmosphere to study in.
