Why did you choose to study at Aberystwyth?

Basically because the international politics course is one of the best in Europe I heard about it and I wanted to do politics so I thought the best bet was Aberystwyth, plus it is only two hours away so I can travel home easily.

What is the department like and what do you like best about the course?

The department is very good and I would probably say that the best thing about it is that the lecturers are full of enthusiasm, so then you feel the enthusiasm and feel enthusiastic because of them.

What are the sporting facilities like?

The sporting facilities are really good, the gym upstairs is excellent. I am only using this one today but normally that one is great. Because I am quite an active person I do football, go boxing, and go to the gym. Aberystwyth has all these facilities and accommodates with the facilities which is really good.

What is the social life like here?

It’s brilliant because it is a relatively small town and many the residences are students its like being on one massive campus when you go in to town, everybody’s a student!

Would you recommend Aberystwyth to others?

Definitely, it is a really friendly place and the locals accommodate the students very well, which I find is nice. It’s basically got everything that you could need.
