Why did you choose to study at Aberystwyth?

First of all I was looking to get away from home and the big city and I was looking to experience something new and Aberystwyth was the right place for me because it was like a holiday spot, quite chilled and relaxed. I thought well, why not? And there we go.

What are the sporting facilities like?

There are various activities available such as basketball, football, rugby, American football, which I wasn’t aware of. Cricket, I mean there is everything here! You just have to pick and organise yourself and pick the right sports for you. I have been a member of the football and basketball team but I haven’t been attending for the past three weeks! I am trying to focus on the nitty gritty work part first, then I will commit myself.

What do you like best about studying at Aberystwyth?

I like the people, they are friendly. I like the teachers; they are very inspiring which it’s a catalyst for the students.

Would you recommend Aberystwyth to others?

I would especially for those who live in inner cities because once you live in a big city your mentality is set to stay in the city “this is where the money is.” But if you go outside you get to see another part of the world and a different part of the UK and a different part of Wales which is a beautiful country. I always wanted to get to know it and now I have experienced it, it is very natural and there is not pollution of cars which you find in the big city.
