Trefloyne

Trefloyne is one of the newest Halls, situated on the University Campus, in a prime location close to all the Campus amenities. Many of the rooms also command fine views of the town and the bay, which are just ten minutes walk away.

Trefloyne is within five minutes walk of:

• CK’s supermarket 
• the bus stop for town
• most academic Departments
• the University Libraries
• the Students’ Union
• Aberystwyth Arts Centre
• the University Sports Centre
• the National Library of Wales.

Communal Facilities

Trefloyne’s communal facilities are shared with Rosser Hall of Residence, and include:

• large lounge
• computer work room
• groups study areas
• vending services
• well-equipped launderette
• parking (limited numbers by permit).

Accommodation

Trefloyne is located adjacent to Cwrt Mawr, the Library and Great Hall. Each self-contained flat accommodates between 7 and 8 students in single and bunk bedrooms and is well equipped, but students are expected to provide their own cutlery, crockery and all bedding. Communal facilities including a launderette and Rosser Lounge are located at Rosser. All rooms have computer links to the Campus area network.

Catering

Students in Trefloyne are self-catering, sharing kitchens in their self-contained flats. Trefloyne residents tend to shop either at the food store next door to the Campus, or at the larger supermarkets in the town.
