"I chose to study at Aberystwyth because it has such a diverse community. As the town is quite small you get to know quite a lot of people here from all around the world, which is quite exhilarating. Also, it’s by the seaside where there’s quite a bit of inspiration for me to draw from for my work.

What I like about the art department is its prestigious building. It used to be an old chemistry lab I think, but it was renovated into artist studios. The staff are very organised as well, so if you’ve got a problem you can go to them and you don’t have to feel like you have no one to turn to.

What I like most about the course is that the tutors are so friendly and personal. You get lots of different types of help from each one, and you have tutors for each module as well.

I definitely would recommend Aberystwyth University to others because it’s such a fulfilling place to be for three years, and it’s a happy place."
