Ordinary Degree in Mathematics

Mathematics: Ordinary Degree G102 - 3 years

Ordinary Degree in Mathematics

A three year ordinary degree in Mathematics is available for applicants with lower initial qualifications than those seeking a Mathematics honours degree. In the first year, you take eight special modules in mathematics together with modules chosen from other departments. In the second year of the Ordinary Mathematics degree, modules must include most of the work described under the heading. In your third year, you choose to study a selection of modules. Students achieving a sufficiently good pass at the end of the first year are given the opportunity to transfer to the honours degree in Mathematics.
