Pure Mathematics Degrees

The Pure Mathematics degree schemes at Aberystwyth are designed to give you a thorough basic training in the core disciplines of analysis and algebra, and to introduce some of the main current developments in mathematics. Pure Mathematics degree modules enable you to apply your knowledge both within mathematics and more widely. The overall aim of this degree in Pure Mathematics is to produce a rigorous understanding of the fundamental concepts of the subject and an appreciation of the relationships between the various branches of mathematics.
