“I chose to study at Aberystwyth because I wanted to stay in Wales. Also, I'd been to the town before and wanted to come back as I liked the area and the University. It was very easy to settle in here, as the town is quite small, everyone is sociable, and gets to know one another.

The department is excellent and the standard of teaching is high. All of the lecturers are good at what they do, and they're always ready to help.

The library and computers are good as well, most of the books you need are here in the library, it's quite large, and the National Library is nearby too. So there are plenty of opportunities for study.

The sports facilities are good, I am a member of the gym and I exercise regularly there. The social life is good, there are plenty of things to do, plenty of places to visit by night, and everyone here enjoys each other's company.

I would definitely recommend Aberystwyth to others, because of the feeling of community. Everyone is nice, and I enjoy being here!”
