Located in its own state of the art building on the main University campus, the Department of Sport and Exercise Science has rapidly acquired a reputation for the high quality of its teaching and research.  The Department achieved the highest level of student satisfaction of any subject in the recent National Student Satisfaction Survey.

The excellent facilities include laboratories to assess physiology, muscle function, biochemical analysis, anthropometry and environmental chambers.  The Department offers a range of innovative courses that provide a key range of skills for future employment.

An additional 10 laboratories are currently being built to further enhance the facilities.
