The Plas Garden
Under the management of Paul Evans, the Grounds Maintenance Unit is responsible for the care of the University’s exterior landscape. The University is justifiably proud of the presentation of its campus and the hard-work and dedication of the Grounds Team. In the management of the grounds we strive to use environmentally sensitive techniques such as using garden waste to produce compost and mulching materials with minimum use of pesticides and weed control in planted areas by hoeing, hand weeding and mulching. We provide tree maintenance and an emergency response service when necessary. The Grounds Team supports ceremonies and any other University events and endeavours to maintain the campus as an aesthetically pleasing and safe environment in which to work and study.

Landscaping....
The Grounds Unit seeks to provide a pleasant and attractive environment in which staff and students can relax, work and study. Operatives work throughout the year, in all weathers, landscaping for the benefit of all and to attract future students and conference visitors to the campus. The results, we hope, speak for themselves.............
