Dedicated members of staff give our students all the help they need to make the year abroad an enjoyable and successful experience. Every year most of our students returning from the
Year Abroad tell us that this has been their best year at university.

In the Department of European Languages at Aberystwyth University we make sure that all our students get the best preparation possible in order to make the Year Abroad their best year ever, a year which will equip them with more independence, initiative, self-motivation, adaptability,
confidence and cultural understanding.

Option 1: Erasmus work placement (British Council Assistantship)

Option 2: Erasmus study placement (University exchange)
France: Paris-IV-Sorbonne, Besançon, La Rochelle, Geneva, Nantes.

Option 3: Study independently at a French university (Centres FLE) and (Ploteus)

Option 4: Comenius assistantship

Option 5: Work Independently Abroad in francophone countries
