Brief description
This module gives an introduction to statistics for use in a business environment. It covers statistical methods and the application of formal decision models in a business context, together with the use of basic statistical software. After completing the module students should be able to: present and summarise a data set, understand basic probability concepts, use linear regression techniques, graphically present linear programming problems and be familiar with statistical software.
