Brief description
This course consists of a broad survey of Greek and Roman civilization, from, on the Greek side, Athens and Sparta, Greek culture, art, slavery and Alexander the Great, to, on the Roman side, education, government, women, city life in Pompeii, religion, and Etruscan and Pompeian art.
