General description
The purpose of the project, on which the dissertation is based, is to demonstrate that the student has acquired the ability to undertake and satisfactorily complete a major piece of work in computing.
Projects may originate either from the student or from a member of the UWA staff. Topics might range from the design and implementation of a piece of software to meet specific requirements to a feasibility study for the introduction of biometric identification methods to safeguard security in the student's company. Work-based projects are encouraged provided that they have suitable academic content.
