Aims
The broad purpose of this module is to give an applied microeconomic analysis of institutional arrangements for the provision of health care and health insurance. More specifically, we will consider how problems associated with asymmetric information (adverse selection and moral hazard) manifest themselves within alternative health systems, how they are handled, and to whatend.
