Brief description
The module provides an introduction to the history and practice of European integration.
Beginning with a historical overview over relevant political developments in Western Europe lectures and seminars will
focus on the evolution of integrative structures in Europe. Primary attention is with the institutional structure, policy-making process and external relations of the European Union.
Aims and objectives
The object of the module is to familiarise students with the institutional map of Europe, study the particularities of European integration and consider the future trajectory of the European Union.
