Brief description
To enable students to:
1. appreciate the extent of heritage resources and interpretation; familiarise themselves with and develop appropriate method skills for pictorial, photographic and map interpretation for reading estate muniments;
2. understand the principles of protection and conservation as they have developed from the 18th century to the present day;
3. test the value of methods employed in class-based casework and their own projects, for assessing the protection and conservation needs of a country house and landed estate.
