Brief description

• This course is designed to provide an introduction to the history of the book in Wales. Topics covered will include the manuscript book in Wales; Welsh printed books; the development of the Welsh periodical and newspaper press; an introduction to the production, distribution and readership of all kinds of reading material (manuscripts, printed book periodicals and newspapers) in Wales and/or in the Welsh language from earliest times to the 1920s.
