Brief description
The aim of the module is to equip students with an overview of the whole domain of human-computer interaction, from cognitive and user interface issues through organisational context to the impact of computer systems on society. It offers students an insight into HCI aspects of systems they may use, enables them to participate constructively in design activities, and equips them to contribute to decision-making about systems to be purchased and intergrated into organisation.
The module will also enable students to recongise and discuss relevant social issues.
