Brief description
The aim of this module is to provide students with an awareness and appreciation of the legal and ethical aspects of research activity in a social science context. This will explore issues of legal protection given to certain categories of information and material, the legal status of research output and ethical issues which arise in the conduct of research and in relation to the dissemination of research findings.
