Brief description

The module examines the relationship between image and process, the use of print as reproduction, and the notion of 'Fine Art' print through the work of some of its key exponents. Prints are discussed in relation to their social and historical context, concentrating on European and American printmaking following a roughly chronological framework from the fifteenth century to the late twentieth century.
