Aims


The module aims to provide an in-depth examination of the theory and practice of EU policy-making. The module will look at the way in which groups mobilize to become involved in EU policy formation, the role of EU supranational institutions and the interaction of political actors from different territorial levels. Particular attention is directed towards analysis of policy-making on EU single market issues and in relation to economic and monetary union. The module also covers policy making in environmental, regional, competition, fisheries, agricultural and other key EU policy areas.
