Brief description

Based on personal and set projects, this module further extends AR20520 for those students who have now decided to continue with printmaking. Individual tutorials and group seminars discuss both the students' work and work selected from the School's Print Collection. There is a greater emphasis on the selection of printmaking processes.

aims

The aim of the module is to build upon the experience already gained by the students who have completed Printmaking 1 & 2.
Students are encouraged to research and develop subject matter that is of specific interest to them resulting in imagery that is appropriate for relief printing and collograph. Wherever possible students are encouraged to become more experimental in their approach and to investigate the potential for mixed media prints.
