Brief description

The curriculum for Printmaking 3 plus: individual projects dealing with both the desire for personal expression and the necessary acquisition of skills and knowledge of appropriate methods and materials. Projects will be carried out for an exhibition.

aims

The aim of the module is to build upon the experience already gained by the students who have completed Printmaking 1 & 2.
Students are encouraged to research and develop subject matter that is of specific interest to them resulting in imagery that is appropriate for relief printing, collograph and stone lithography. Wherever possible students are encouraged to become more experimental in their approach and to investigate the potential for mixed media prints.
