Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this module, students will be able to:

Describe and effectively exploit the facilities of typical currently available tools;
Describe the use of tools in the project management of web site creation
Describe the project monitoring and controlling in the context of web development
Describe and justify selection of alternative web development tools

Brief description

Modern commercial web site design requires multi disciplined project teams. Tools are necessary for site creation, project management and software version control. Selection of the most suitable tools is paramount to the success of any project. This module investigates the facilities of such tools to help with their use and selection.
