Brief description

This module forms part of the core Level 2 programme in European Languages (German Minor) and is one of the three language courses taken in that year (it may be taken in Year 4 by students who take up the minor language ab initio in Year 2). It thus follows on from the appropriate module in earlier years (GE10130, GE10740, GE21530) and aims to deepen students’ understanding of German as a language and enhance their knowledge of German more generally.
The format is as follows: students will attend the weekly and fortnightly grammar class with GE20130. Students produce 5 pieces of assessed work over the year.
