In this module students have the opportunity to read and familiarise themselves with three great 'classics' of the Renaissance and Golden Age periods. In them we find three of the most fascinating and archetypal characters in world literature - the Celestina, Don Quijote and Segismundo - who come to life, comically or tragically, through the imagination of Spain's greatest writers whose influence on the modern period has been immense.
