An ability to present, in written and oral form, the structure, story and arguments on which the documentary is based before production begins. (With specific emphasis on story-telling, characters and structure)

A technical team is assigned to each group so they can offer mutual support through the production process.
Production Managers are requested to log hours spent in the edit suite. A record is kept of attendance at seminars and tutorials.
A record is kept of complaints received indicating that members of the team are contributing fully. A team working contract is agreed during the first lecture.
