Brief description

Academic writing is a skill that can be developed and improved through study and practice. This module helps students to understand the principles of writing and to develop the skills of critical evaluation of their writing, redrafting, and reflection on their own performance. Students will learn how to write better assignments and to avoid some of the common errors in writing.

Course components will include an analysis of your own process and the priniples that underline the practice of successful academic writers. Throughout workshops and seminars you will explore functions, patterns and language, and engage with the writing process on a weekly basis.
