On completion of this module, students should be able to:
develop an awareness of management information needs and decision-making activity in an environment of "information use";
appreciate the design of systems which support management decision-making in all types of organisation;
use an integrated software tool for decision support, including production of management reports;
acquire skills in evaluating information systems in the corporate environment
Brief description
This module will enable students to understand, use and design systems to aid management decision-making in all types of organisations. It covers the appropriate use of supporting technology in this area of information management. This includes design of a management information system and use of an actual system.
