Learning outcomes

On completion of this module, students will be able to

show awareness of the elements required to design and manage research for a thesis

be able to manage their study time and exploit the supervisory relationship effectively

understand the various approaches to writing

show awareness of oral presentation strategies.

Brief description

The aim of this module is to ensure that postgraduates acquire the intellectual and practical skills necessary for working successfully on a research thesis and for communicating the results of such research through appropriate media.
