Content

1. Management accounting as a control mechanism - behavioural considerations.
2. Cost classification.
3. Costing - dealing with overheads using:
   a. Absorption costing.
   b. Marginal costing
   c. Activity-based costing
4. Cost accounting - job costing and process costing.
5. Effect of costing methods on stock valuation and profit.
6. Aspects of performance management.
