1. have developed an understanding of the relationship between location, rural economy and culture
2. have developed a critical, evaluative and analytical approach towards a rural economy
3. be able to appreciate the complexity of decision-making in the diversification of rural Britain.
The approach throughout should be analytical, critical and evaluative and contain a thorough review of appropriate literature (after consultation with the module co-ordinator as to what might be termed 'appropriate') in the light of choice of location/business.
The report will be fully referenced in accordance with the Harvard System.
