Learning outcomes
On completion of the module students should be able to :
1. Select an appropriate agricultural tractor for a specified range of applications
2. Develop the skills required to manage safe and efficient tractor operations
Aims
This module will provide an understanding of the selection criteria and engineering asssociated with the agricultural tractor and the knowledge required to manage tractor/implement operations safely and efficiently.
Content
This module consists of a series of lectures, demonsttations and hands-on workshop practicals. This combination is not only designed to introduce and develop an understanding of the topics, but also to develop a range of basic vocational practical skills
